Strategi dan Pengembangan Mutu Pembelajaran Peserta Didik dalam Kitab Maqashid Halaqat At-Ta’lim

This research is motivated by the existence of the Maqashid Halaqat At-Ta'lim Book by Habib Umar bin Hafidz as a response to the current phenomenon of Islamic education. In the book, Habib Umar bin Hafidz formulates strategies for implementing education. Among them are teaching strategies to develop students' knowledge and character.This study aims to determine teaching strategies to develop students' knowledge according to Habib Umar bin Hafidz in the book Maqashid Halaqat At-Ta'lim.The method used in this research is a character perspective study. In this study, the figure who was used as the center of the study was Habib Umar bin Hafidz. This research includes library research with reference to the Maqashid Halaqat At-Ta'lim book.The results of the study said that in the book Maqashid Halaqat At-Ta'lim Habib Umar bin Hafidz formulated several strategies that a teacher could take to increase students' knowledge. In general, it is paying attention to voice and body gestures, providing material conclusions, opening discussion rooms, recommending note-taking important things, asking questions, holding exams, ordering memorization, inserting humor and motivation, holding practices, packing material delivery, holding remedials, holding enrichment, giving praise and rewards, and teaching according to the curriculum.
